It was a test, not a real car. The same request went to 242 California shops that day, 25 of them in Santa Clara County. Then we watched email, phone and text.

Eighteen minutes is the fastest reply of any shop I wrote to that morning. You are hungry and you answer. So a nine-day silence is not you. The inquiry never arrived where anybody at SFS actually looks. The site runs on WordPress, and the form is the one part of it nobody sees the back of. The problem is the pipe, not the people.
Where the pipe usually leaks
- It emails an inbox nobody opens between installs.
- It lands in spam.
- It goes to the films side of the shop when the signs side is watching, or the other way around.
- It arrives fine, and no single person owns answering it.
